What are the official dates of the conference?

August 14-17, 2016

Where is the conference located?

Pre-conference programs will take place at APCO’s Headquarter hotel, Rosen Centre, and the Hyatt Regency. Both are conveniently located next to the Convention Center.

Sunday through Wednesday events will be held at Orange County Convention Center, West Building.

How many CEUs will I earn for attending APCO 2016?

If you attend all four days, you have the opportunity to earn 16 CEUs.

How do I register?

Click on the Registration button at the top of this page.

What is the registration fee and what is included?

Registration fees vary based on your membership status and when you register. Please visit our Registration Fees & Information page for more details on fees and what is included.

Do I have to register for individual sessions/are sessions ticketed?

You do not need to pre-register for any educational sessions at APCO 2016. However, seats are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Popular sessions will reach capacity quickly, so please plan to arrive early. Use of the “My Scheduler” tool does not guarantee/reserve a seat in any session. Sessions/activities with additional fees do require pre-registration and/or additional fees to allow access/entry i.e. pre & post conference courses, Connect & Celebrate Dinner, etc.

When/where can I register onsite?

You will be able to register (including badge/material pickup for those registered in advance, as well as anyone who needs to register onsite) at the Registration Desk located in the Convention Center West Building, West A/B, Level 1. Badges and/or tickets are required for access to all APCO 2016 activities.

Sunday, August 14 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, August 15 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 16 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 17 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Can I volunteer to help during conference?

Yes. There are many volunteer opportunities available during the event. Learn more.

Where can I find information on exhibitors and the types of products at the expo?

Everything you need to know about the exhibit hall is listed here including the hours the expo is open, names of companies exhibiting and their product categories.

Will I be able to access the program on my mobile device?

Yes, the APCO 2016 mobile app will be available in July, with access to the complete final program and much more!

How do I make a hotel reservation?

Visit our Housing page for a list of the hotels where a group rate is offered. 

Who can I contact with housing questions or issues?

Please contact Orchid Event Solutions (APCO’s Housing Provider) at 877-505-0684.

Will there be shuttle transportation between APCO hotels and the convention center?

Shuttle service will be provided to and from the following hotels:
Hilton Orlando, Rosen Plaza & Hyatt Regency.

In addition, ADA buses can be requested for the Rosen Centre (Host Hotel).

Shuttle service hours and pick up location information will be provided in advance and onsite via signage.  See shuttle schedule.

What are the recommended arrival airports?

Orlando International Airport (MCO) – 13.3 miles

Are there travel discounts available?

Yes, APCO has secured special discounts with Delta Airlines, Avis and Super Shuttle.

What is the recommended attire?

Attire at APCO 2016 ranges from business casual to casual.

Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, jeans, polo shirts, sweaters, blouses, and most importantly, comfortable shoes!

Will child care be provided?

APCO does not provide child care services during the conference.

Attendees requiring assistance with child care should contact their hotel concierge. Please know that all events require a badge and/or ticket. A conference guest registration is available for purchase.
