This year at APCO, Zetron will feature products and demonstrations that highlight unified command-and-control, open standards, and LTE push-to-talk over cellular integrated into Zetron consoles. Zetron will be exhibiting at booth 1137.

Redmond, WA, U.S.A., August 4, 2016Zetron will be featuring a variety of products and demonstrations in booth 1137at the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Conference and Expo in Orlando, FL, August 14-17, 2016. The overriding theme in Zetron’s booth this year will be how Zetron’s solutions improve the flexibility, exchange, and usefulness of critical information.

Featured Zetron products and demonstrations will include:

  • MAX Solutions unified command-and-control systems. The systems in MAX Solutions work together to collect and deliver a seamless flow of information from the moment the 9-1-1 call comes in until the incident is resolved. MAX Solutions includes: MAX Call-Taking, MAX CAD and Mobile CAD, MAX GIS Mapping, MAX Dispatch, and MAX MIS.
  • MAX Dispatch and Acom systems utilizing the P25 Console Subsystem Interface (CSSI). Support for the CSSI improves interoperability across different systems, agencies, and jurisdictions and gives customers more flexibility in their equipment choices.
  • Pathway+ radio gateway. Pathway+ radio gateway combines the Project 25 (P25) Digital Fixed Station Interface (DFSI), analog 4-wire interface, and Motorola Quantar and other Motorola V.24 interfaces in a single platform. This expands the reach of radio communications, allows them to continue uninterrupted as systems migrate to IP networks, and helps control migration and system-update costs.
  • AcomNOVUS command-and-control system integrated with the Kodiak’s Broadband Push-to-Talk (PTT). This Push-to-Talk over cellular (PTToC) LTE solution delivers LMR and broadband PTT interoperability with high levels of MCPTT-based quality and reliability. It supports a wide selection of smartphones, rugged phones, and accessories to meet the diverse needs of public safety and other supporting roles.

eFORCE Brings Advanced Dispatching Features, User Experience to APCO 2016

eFORCE Software, an industry-leading provider of web-based public safety software, will be showcasing the enhanced mobile functionality and user-friendly design of its law enforcement solution suite at APCO 2016 in Orlando, Florida.

Eforce logo“We’re excited to share the advanced capabilities of our dispatching solution with the attendees at this year’s conference,” said Cory Bowers, eFORCE Software CEO. “We’ve invested a lot of resources into developing a solution that meets our customers’ needs and is still easier to use than any other CAD on the market.”

The company’s Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software is a key part of a full suite of solutions it provides for police departments and sheriff’s offices throughout the country.

“We have liked the eFORCE CAD system for its versatility,” said Chief Tom Ross, of the Bountiful City Police Department. “It was easy for the dispatchers to learn and they like having the option of using the point and click features or entering information via the command line.”

eFORCE will also be highlighting its new iOS mobile application next month at the APCO conference. The app allows officers to view dispatch calls from an iPhone or iPad, and put themselves in route on a call, all from their mobile device.

“We’re innovators,” said Bowers. “We set trends and have no inhibitions when it comes to breaking the mold of how things have always been done.”

When eFORCE began operating in 2003, it was the first company in the industry to develop an entirely web-based suite of software solutions that could be operated online from any computer with internet access.

eFORCE overcame a host of challenges to successfully break into the highly competitive market and make a name for itself.

“We were told on multiple occasions that we’d never succeed with a product built in the cloud,” said Bowers. “Our competitors laughed at us, and now many of them are trying to follow suit.”

In addition to its dispatch software and mobile app, eFORCE also designs software that can manage police records, jail records and processes, municipal court, fare enforcement, civil process, e-Citations and automatic vehicle location for the public safety sector. The company has hundreds of customers throughout the United States and across the globe.

About eFORCE
eFORCE Software is a tenured public safety software provider who offers flexible, state-of-the art, web-based solutions in a hosted or locally installed environment. Hundreds of customers enjoy the benefits of eFORCE’s proven, leading edge technologies; they range from small hosted campus police departments to an entire country. US Coast Guard Boater Safety App to Exhibit at APCO 2016

Lakewood Ranch, FL, August 1, 2016 – The United States Coast Guard boater safety mobile app will be exhibiting at APCO 2016 from booth AI-2, August 15-16 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

The app was designed as a safety and informational tool for recreational boaters. Users can view applicable state boating information and regulations, request a safety check by the Coast Guard Auxiliary, review required safety equipment, submit a float plan, report hazards, pollution or suspicious activity and most importantly request emergency assistance from the closest Coast Guard facility using location services.

Optivon Inc., a cloud communication and mobile app developer created the app for BastaYa, an antiviolence organization in honor of Coast Guard Auxiliarist Julian Romero. BastaYa donated the app to the United States Coast Guard in May 2015.

More about BastaYa:

Luis Romero and his wife, Marie Romero, suffered personal tragedy on April 18, 2011 when their son Julian Romero, a Coast Guard Auxiliarist, was murdered on his 20th birthday. BastaYa has been involved in many anticrime events around PR, created community policing applications 3432020 and SentiGuard and most recently created and donated a boater safety application to The United States Coast Guard.
